Saturday 17 August saw a Start Sheet of 180 riders for the NHRC 25 mile TT at Bentley in Hampshire.

The forecast steady rain for the whole afternoon failed to materialise although a couple of heavy showers did make things wet for lots of the riders.

WInner of the Women's event was Lesley-Anne Walkling from V C St Raphael in a time of 58.28 .  The Men's winner was Rob Sharland from Kingston Wheelers in 51.40.

On Saturday 17 August NHRC are hosting a 25 mile Open Time Trial on the H25/8 course at Bentley.  I will be capturing the event and posting photographs here.

 

There is a high quality field with 150 men and 30 women riding.

National Marathon Championships

Saturday 24th August & Sunday 25th August

The weekend of 24-25 August sees my next assignment as the National Marathon Championships for canoeing take place on the river at Purley-on-Thames, just outside Reading.  This prestigious event is being hosted by Pangbourne Canoe Club and more details can be found here http://pangbournecanoeclub.co.uk/
